Welcome to the Flamingo Project!

We are an academic initiative by Jan Huisken and build shareable, modular and mobile light sheet microscopes to unlock exciting new imaging experiments in your lab. Each Flamingo microscope is configurable to suit a broad range of applications and perfectly suited for imaging live specimen such as fruit fly embryos, zebrafish embryos and larvae, worms, organoids, spheroids and many more.

We are excited to learn what insights a Flamingo can provide for your research. Are you curious, too? Get in touch with us:

What is the Flamingo project all about?

Do you have a project in mind that would work great with light sheet microscopy? Are you planning a workshop where a Flamingo would be of great help?

You want to learn more about the technology behind the Flamingo? Do you have technology that would be a great match?

Do you want to help out and support the Flamingo project?
