Team

The Flamingo project was founded by Jan Huisken, Director of the Medical Engineering department and co-workers at the Morgridge Institute for Research in Madison, WI. Based on experience and passion for developing light sheet technology, the idea of a portable and sharable microscope was fostered as the team’s contribution towards a stronger scientific community.
